ORGANIZATIONAL ASSESSMENTS

We collaborate with you in discerning and determining where you’ve been, where you currently are, and where you’d like to go as a group or organization.

Articulate your vision, mission, values, goals, objectives, or develop a strategic plan through consultation with the Sycamore Project team.

EVALUATION AND SCREENING TOOL DEVELOPMENT

We assist in developing methods of evaluating and screening candidates interested considering formal ministry.

For example, we develop screening tools to assist in the determination of suitability of candidates for holy orders. Such screening tools are developed to assist with the discernment process regarding admission of candidates to the seminary or Holy Orders.

Such screening tools are intended to be used primarily by admissions and formation personnel. It is hoped that such a tool will illuminate areas of strength and growth as well as potential areas of concern.

VOCATIONAL DISCERNMENT

We assist formators in the evaluation of candidates for Holy Orders, considering various aspects of human development and formation, vocational call and leadership ability.

CRISIS INTERVENTION

We respond to crisis calls by gathering information pertaining to presenting situations, determining immediate needs, and providing direction and guidance as indicated.

REFERRAL RECOMMENDATIONS

We respond to enquiries by clergy, seminarians and priests within the Ottawa area regarding specifics needs. Possible referral options are discussed and suggestions/directions given.

RESEARCH

We provide research services (including conducting literature searches, internet research, interviewing persons, focus groups) aimed at saving leaders time and effort.
